Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, and the highest free-standing mountain in the world, with its summit of 5895 meters (19,341 ft).  This dormant volcano mountain is located in Tanzania.  It has three volcanic cones or peaks, Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira.

No doubt, Kilimanjaro is the pride of Africa and it represents many iconic images of Africa. Kilimanjaro is a scenic mountain, it has beautiful bushland, rainforest, heather/moorland, alpine desert, and arctic zones. Travelers embark on a hiking adventure to climb and summit this famed mountain.

There are 7 routes to climb Kilimanjaro.  Namely:  Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Shira, Rongai, Northern Circuit, and Umbwe. It takes 6 to 9 days to climb, it depends on the route.
